Anyone living in Holland, will have to deal with Dutch paperwork. Not knowing what to do can get you into unnecessary trouble or make you miss out on lots of money.

This is how DutchPaperwork can help you out:

what

*Claiming the money you are entitled to, like:
                     -health care allowance (zorgtoeslag)
                     -rent allowance (huurtoeslag)
-study funding from the Dutch state

                       ('studiefinanciering')

after making sure you are eligible

*Getting a grip on your taxes, helping you to fill in:

-the income tax for those who have had normal paychecks  during the year and might get a tax refund after having payed up front
-the VAT-declaration (BTW or 'omzetbelasting') and complete annual tax declarations for small companies.

-a request for dispensation from the annual local municipal and water taxes ('gemeentebelasting' and 'waterschapsbelasting') for those who don't have the means to pay them

*Translating any official Dutch letter that you don't know what to do with, taking the necessary consecutive actions like making phone calls, writing letters, filling in forms...

*Applying for a tax identity or BSN number or

getting a Digi-D.

why

As a foreigner in Holland, it proves to be hard to meet Dutch friends that are able to help you sort out your paperwork.

Looking for advice, you will find that accountants easily charge 60 euros for VAT or 400 for income taxes. Furthermore, they might not offer to help you out with everything you would need to know, since not all of your administrative duties will have to do with taxes. Also, many offices don't offer one-question-advise.

At Dutch Paperwork, I, Andrea Voets, will take a look at your situation for 15 euros per 15 minutes (excl. VAT). Most problems can be dealt with within 15 min.

I find it important to explain to you what is going on, so you will have less worries. If you are feeling adventurous, I can also teach you how to do your own admin by explaining exactly what you need to know for your specific situation.

DutchPaperwork is available in English, French, German, Dutch and Greek.
